It's so unfortunate that hurt usually brings out the worse in all of us. Our natural instinct is to lash out, but all that does is intensifies our own pain. Seems I've been down this road a few times since my husband's death. Maybe, just maybe I expect too much. Maybe, there will never be another man with values like my Gibson. Perhaps that was as good as it gets; I need to accept it, and find peace in my life alone. I'd rather be alone than be unhappy, suspicious and miserable. God, give me the strength, and show me the way to inner peace.
