My friend, Kelley, and I are to the extreme, different. When she is finished with a relationship for whatever the reason, she never looks back, however I can't seem to move forward. It's a painful existence. She has asked me many times, "where is your pride?" I guess only a true friend would and could be so blunt.
It has to be unresolved abandonment issues over my husband's death. I know he didn't choose to leave; as a matter of fact he fought hard, and was the bravest man I have ever known, all the way to the end. The one thing we never discussed in that year is what he expected or would want for me after he was gone. I wish we had. :(
