Prayer
Lord, you are a forgiving God. So I come today asking for your forgiveness. Father, my desire is to do your will, to be more like you, and to please you in every way.
Father I know that you hate sin, but I thank you that you love me unconditionally despite the wrong I may do.
Forgive me if I repaid evil for evil instead of doing good.
Search my heart oh God, and reveal to me anything that is not pleasing to you.
Thank you Lord that you keep no record of my wrong. Thank you that I am a new creature through Christ Jesus.

Continuing Education
Finished my Firm Element today! Yeah! Two weeks to spare. Good thing because I still need two hours of Ethics for the CFP Board, 22 hours of CFP CE, and 3 hours of Georgia Ethics before the end of September. Nothing like procrastination. Now, the challenge to go find one of their "approved" courses that don't cost a fortune and take forever to read and test. Thank goodness the CFP is a two year renewal cycle.
Back to work. :) No time for play...

Awake Again :(
It's 4:30 a.m., I'm up after tossing and turning for an hour in bed. Don't know where this is coming from, but please go away. Yesterday I was miserable. I have a lot to do today, then plans this afternoon. I need my beauty rest. :)

Sleepy
I am so sleepy today. Yawn... I guess sleep deprivation from last night has gotten to me. Looks like I'll be down for the count before long, although I don't much care for those afternoon naps. They set the tone for the rest of the day. Hoping to "turn it off" for a little while so I can sleep, if you know what I mean.

Can't Sleep
It's 5:30 on Saturday morning. I've been up already for almost an hour. I laid in bed trying to go back to sleep, and everytime I would doze off, I would wake myself up talking. I must have a lot going on in my subconscious mind. Yep, I'm sure I do.

Beauty and the Family...
Had my toenails painted my usual, That's Hot Pink, with my "diamonds" across the big toe bed yesterday, my hair highlighted and trimmed today, and Monday, it's fingernail day. I love being a girly girl... :) I was told today as I left an office from head to toe in hot pink, "you are pretty in pink".
Went to dinner with my true loves, Kristen, Hunter, Danielle, and the babies, Harrison and Eleanor. Had a little interruption from you know who, but what the heck. Perhaps he's a little concerned about my earlier message to him. So What!
My daughter has a Droid phone. Her husband was home from work and she kept changing the channels on the TV without his knowledge, from a preaching channel, to Nancy Grace, then the Spanish channel. When she got home he was so frustrated he told her he was going to take a shower, "something was wrong with that stupid TV", and he named all the channels it kept changing to. She was laughing so hard, in her silent voice, I thought she was going to cry. That is so damn funny! Who would have thought you could do something like that 25 miles away from your house, from your phone?
This day just keeps getting better. I just got a call from a plastic surgery friend to tell me he met a woman who could be my twin, except she was very thin. He wanted me to know I was more beautiful than she was. He thinks I am a gorgeous woman, just like I am, and I would not look good skinny. He's on call at the hospitals tonight, and to take time to call me to tell me that, well, what more could a woman's ego need. He's 35, cute, loyal, and a sweetheart. Thank you, Doctor Pearl. <3

Roofers
They said 6:30, and they pulled up at 6:30 on the dot. I'm impressed. Now the noise begins. :)

New Roof
Not very romantic or exciting, but tomorrow morning at 6:30 a.m., roofers will begin the removal of my roof and the replacement with a new one, thanks to good old Mother Nature, the wrath of her hail storm about three months ago, and insurance. Let's all pray for no rain and cooler weather for these guys.
Can't wait to get home tomorrow to see the finished project.
